This page describes management procedures of B-Diagnostics’s official website regarding the processing of Personal Data of users that visit it. This information is provided in accordance with UE Regulation no. 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter «Regulation») in compliance with the national law on the protection of Personal Data addressed to those who interact with the company's web site www.b-diagnostics.com.
This statement only applies to B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A.’s web site and not to other web sites that the users may consult through links on the company website.

PERSONAL DATA

Personal Data mean information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, for example:

- Name and surname.
- Email address.
- Telephone number.

B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. shall collect and process the above-mentioned Personal Data, to be able to provide and to offer specific services required by customers and/or site visitors.
In the case that these subjects did not provide the above-mentioned information, B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. would not be able to provide the required service

B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. and its service providers use Personal Data for the following reasons:

- To ensure correct functionality of the website and to meet the users’ needs by access to the “Contact/Orders and Offers” area.

B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. shares Personal Data with suppliers/third parties to facilitate the services they provide to the Company. Users and Customers may decide to share their Personal Data by filling out “Orders and Offers” form under the “Contacts” section.

B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. uses and discloses Personal Data when needed and in every proper way to comply with a legal obligation or a legitimate interest, as for example:

- To comply with any applicable laws: this may include laws outside the country of residence
- To respond to requests from public and governmental authorities: this may include laws outside the country of residence
- To cooperate with law enforcement authorities
- To answer to a request for information, offers and orders placed by the user: the request sent by e-mail to the addresses indicated in the “Contact” section implies the subsequent acquisition of certain items of the requesting party’s Personal Data, including e-mail address that it is necessary to response to the requests submitted. Specific statements will be progressively indicated or shown on website pages relating to the provision of specific services on request
- To reply to application for open job positions: to follow up on any candidate-selection process. Specific summaries will be progressively provided or shown on website pages.

B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. and its service providers can collect additional Personal Data as follows:

- Through the visitor’s device or browser:
	-Some information is automatically collected by most browsers or devices, for example MAC address (Media Access Control), computer type (Windows or Mac), screen resolution, operating system name and version, the manufacturer and the device model, the language, Internet browser type and version, user website name and version. B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. uses this information to ensure the proper functioning of the website.

- Use of cookies
	- B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. uses cookies for statistical purposes to track visits to its website pages. Cookies are pieces of information stored directly on the computer the user is using. Cookies allow to collect information such as: browser type, time spent on the website, the pages accessed while visiting the site, language preferences and other traffic data. B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. and its service providers use the information for security reasons, to make browsing easier, to display information in a more effective way and to customize browsing experience. B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. collects statistical information on its website to continuously improve its design and its functionality but also to understand how such information is managed and as a support to answer questions. 	- The IP address is automatically assigned to a computer by an Internet service provider. Each time a user visits our website, our server automatically recognizes and logs in our log files your IP address together with the duration of your visit and webpages visited. IP addresses collection is a standard practice, and it is done automatically by many websites, applications, and other services. B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. uses IP addresses for purposes such as calculating usage levels, diagnosis of server problems and managing the website. In addition, it derives the approximate geolocation from the IP address.

B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. uses proper organisational, technical, and administrative measures to protect Personal Data.

CHOICES AND ACCESS

B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. allows you to choose the use and the disclosure of Personal Data for marketing purposes.

To ensure the necessary data protection, B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. will reply within a month from the receipt of your request to exercise one of the rights provided for by the Regulation, which might be extended to 2 months, if necessary, considering the complexity and the number of the requests received.

B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. may need to store certain information for the purpose of registering and/or finalizing operations initiated prior to receiving the request. Some information may remain stored in databases and other B-DIAGNOSTICS’s archives.

STORAGE PERIOD

B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. retains Personal Data for the time needed to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and consistent with applicable law.
The criteria used to identify retention period include:

- The period during which the relation between the user and B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. is currently underway or the use of the website is active
- If there is a legal obligation to which the Company is subject (for example, laws requiring to record operations over a period before they can be eliminated)

The website is not addressed to minors. B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. does not knowingly use its website to request data from minors under 18 years old.

The Personal Data Owner is the company B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. with registered office in via Larga 23, 20122 Milano – Italy in the person of its legal representative to whom the user can apply for the exercise of the rights by sending a request to privacy@b-diagnostics.it or, alternatively, by post to the above-mentioned address.
Where it is contested an alleged violation of data protection legislation, please lodge a complaint with the national data protection authority (the Personal Data Protection Authority).

PLACE OF DATA PROCESSING

Data processing related to the consultation of this website takes place at the registered office and it is carried out by the staff specifically employed for that role as well as at the facilities of the provider who supplies the site hosting service.
