This page describes management procedures of B-Diagnostics’s official website regarding the processing of Personal Data of users that visit it. This information is provided in accordance with UE Regulation no. 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter «Regulation») in compliance with the national law on the protection of Personal Data addressed to those who interact with the company's web site www.b-diagnostics.com.
This statement only applies to B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A.’s web site and not to other web sites that the users may consult through links on the company website.
Personal Data
Personal Data mean information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, for example:
- Name and surname;
- Email address;
- Telephone number.
B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. shall collect and process the above-mentioned Personal Data, to be able to provide and to offer specific services required by customers and/or site visitors.
In the case that these subjects did not provide the above-mentioned information, B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. would not be able to provide the required service.

B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. and its service providers may collect customers’ and website visitors’ Personal Data.

B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. and its service providers use Personal Data for the following reasons:

B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. shares Personal Data with suppliers/third parties to facilitate the services they provide to the Company. Examples of services rendered by these providers could be hosting web, data analysis, data processing, information technology and infrastructure provision, customer care, e-mail, auditing, and other services.
Users and Customers may decide to share their Personal Data by filling out “Orders and Offers” form under the “Contacts” section.

B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. uses and discloses Personal Data when needed and in every proper way to comply with a legal obligation or a legitimate interest, as for example:

Some information is automatically collected by most browsers or devices, for example MAC address (Media Access Control), computer type (Windows or Mac), screen resolution, operating system name and version, the manufacturer and the device model, the language, Internet browser type and version, user website name and version. B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. uses this information to ensure the proper functioning of the website.

B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. uses cookies for statistical purposes to track visits to its website pages. Cookies are pieces of information stored directly on the computer the user is using. The IP address is automatically assigned to a computer by an Internet service provider. Each time a user visits our website, our server automatically recognizes and logs in our log files your IP address together with the duration of your visit and webpages visited. IP addresses collection is a standard practice, and it is done automatically by many websites, applications, and other services.
B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. uses IP addresses for purposes such as calculating usage levels, diagnosis of server problems and managing the website. In addition, it derives the approximate geolocation from the IP address.

B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. uses proper organisational, technical, and administrative measures to protect Personal Data.

To ensure the necessary data protection, B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. will reply within a month from the receipt of your request to exercise one of the rights provided for by the Regulation, which might be extended to 2 months, if necessary, considering the complexity and the number of the requests received.
B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. may need to store certain information for the purpose of registering and/or finalizing operations initiated prior to receiving the request. Some information may remain stored in databases and other B-DIAGNOSTICS’s archives.
Storage period
B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. retains Personal Data for the time needed to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and consistent with applicable law.
The criteria used to identify retention period include:
- The period during which the relation between the user and B-DIAGNOSTICS S.p.A. is currently underway or the use of the website is active;
